Layout & Templot Assistance

I provide a layout generation or update service using Templot.

A flowing layout plan can be created without using or even having Templot loaded. However, if you wish to use Templot, experimenting with a partial or complete plan will likely help you overcome initial challenges without extensive software learning.

Hourly Rate: £30 per hour

Time Required: The time depends on the size and complexity of the proposed layout. I typically create most layouts in less than two hours. Layout updates, tutorials or assistance can be conducted via a Zoom or Teams meeting where I can record the meeting for you to review or re-watch at your convenience.

If interested, please email Terry a sketch of your desired layout or track plan and forward a scan or photograph with as much information as possible. Please include scale and track gauge along with any baseboard sizes.

Terry will generate a quotation of the number of hours required to produce an initial layout and current availability.

 

Payment can be made via BACS so your layout can be generated using Templot and the native .box file. Printable PDF files will be emailed or made available for download.

 

You can review and request any amendments.

 

If required, Terry can provide a no-obligation quotation for producing some or all of your trackwork in kit form or ready assembled. This could include laser-cut ply timbers with resin chairs (Plug Track), 3D-printed chairs on timbers (COT or CARROT) or a hybrid mix.
